Courage is a necessity,
A necessity to live
Courage is an instinct,
An instinct of survival
Courage is a protection,
A protection for those we love
Courage is an ability,
An ability to fight back
Courage is a stand,
A stand against wrong doers
Courage is a cry,
A cry of war as we go into battle
Courage is a quiet voice,
A quiet voice whispering 'I will try again tomorrow' when we fail
