No problem man, but, in fair criticism, the other sigs are either too busy and draw the eyes to too many focal points or the colors clash. The ones that don’t do these two things are chaotic and have no focal or the focal is too hard to see like in the After Images sig.
i think i took a look at it, but unfortuantly , i haev not used GIMP
...a while ago, i got GIMP(b4 i got photoshop again)..but i never did open it but one time....so far i’ve used PS, paint occasionally(not so much anymore), and more of Photo Impressions 4

a long tme ago i did one for him in the kings of Moviecodec topic. Was a fire fox, early signature detail, not much. Call this setting it straight.
Heavy shading and lighting used to this. Begening of increased effort into elements began with this one. Not a bad start out.

A really powerful background sig. Backgrounds utilized in uique ways to rival those of abstracts. Colors drastically changed, with cloud effects added.

blending really came through. Transform perspectives ensure for what appears to be even a C4d, coloring and streaking resulting from experiments with hues , lighting done personally.

a failed attempt which i have retouched. Contrary to initial thoughts, dodging and burning cannot solve all problems. Lighting added(the sun). nonconventional flow used.

Matrix themed. Start of my assault at mastering manual 3-d effects.
Most worked on sig, and personal favorite out of the batch of Improved-series sigs. Based on an Electric Angel theme, with some element work added in. From it\'s sucess in expermenting with lightning effects ,and art. Credit to Deviant art for the multitudes of subtle stock ideas and effects. The overlaying was hard, and not perfected. Dodging and Burn work heavily invested into this one. Based off of own guest name, An Electric Will. This piece is version one, more to follow up.
And that concludes my improved Series Signatures. The ones that are based on or for people, yes those are for you. While i am not easily able to match the senior graphic editers in many ways( still haven\'t utilized c4d) , I hope i can say these are an improvement from my blocky originals.
I must add that semi-large sigs work out best for me, however.

sorry, i have to agree with doomtrain. No way you did all this. I mean, look at that sig topic you have. Totally Different style than this. This looks like Chaos Theory or Cid was messing around and this was the result.

hm... what is your opinion of my Eye Aquaeous and Electric Will sigs? i consider those to have come out the best, lol
Honestly it really doesn’t appear to be much work done here, the overlay or lowered opacity of the eye on the space background or at least planet back ground is highly distracting you don’t know what to look at the focal, which I perceive as the eye, or the planet in the upper right hand corner.
Then the effect you used to try and magnify the tear messed up the whole of the lower eye.
Again this is just to me as I see it.
This is way too busy for me. I don’t know what to follow the over use of the lightning brushing or look at Storm’s face of course you lowered the opacity on her face too much IMHO which gives a dull feel to the over excited feel. Just way too busy.
Again I’m not saying it’s bad just saying it doesn’t let my eye pleasantly look at it

lolol, i am semi-addicted to mixing overlay and gaussian blurs, it’s a insta-brighten technique that i can make some sick abstracts with, but it works on images too, and i was spamming that technique on a few of these
Well you can almost put that reasoning to this one as well. Your drawing focus off your focal with the added characters and the lowered opacity or overlay onto the lightning is also distracting. And the text almost blends into the sig, except over the girl’s body. I really have nothing else to say besides it was a bold move to use a naked chick.

this one i worked on a lot and plan on doing a sequel
as for the electric angel thing..lol, bold hm? I wanted to try mixing different stuff into element sigs.....and i don’t normally do sigs like that....but i was doing a bunch of elemental sigs(some of which i discarded) and it looked as one of the best , so i kept it...haha
the Text was something i added at the end....it won’t be in the 2nd version, but .....well, i’ll have to try editing the lightning more...
i actually did not use a lightnign brush for most of that....the lightning is clone stamped more..... i did see some good lightning c4d brushes, maybe i’ll have to put them to use the second time...
thanks for your opinions though.... i hadn’t realized the brightness on the electricity was off...
hopefully i can make ver2 better yet...EDIT_____lol, half the lightning on the girl, i did NOT add...i did the surrounding areas..

WOW.You Did that?Well i think it looks really good. Your best one is way better than most of your older ones. You seem to like scenery and well lit pictures alot. I think you should maybe try it without the electric characters for your second go at it. Oi, maybe you can use lightning to fill in for them, or something. And the words are nice but words arent always needed. Like color images, greyscaled pix sometimes look really cool. im so jealous of that electric will one, i think i c why its your favorite.

As for my favorite sig,Probably Electric will. A electic shock naked chick? Thats rare. But i think it works out, even in the higher sigs. CT is just holding it to a standard.
