More or less I felt it was like I went through 8 weeks ago, accept there would be some happy verse after all that now smiley Something far greater than I ever thought possible.

And before King John gets his panties in a bunch about what I just said: It’s cool you don’t share my thought level of women, that’s all good. You might have had more women than me in a month than I have in my whole like. But I have quality, not quantity, which I would have it no other way.

Azreal: Good song smiley because I have gone through hell and I came back and went to paradise in many ways. smiley I felt the emotion in the song for sure.

Once again, only my opinion don’t get pissy. Contemplated and Flummoxed aren’t really big words, I guess there a step above average vocabulary but I wouldn’t consider them big.I was going to mention this in my other post, but I’ll do it here, why would Hell shine DOWN? I understood the situation was that that one chick broke your heart, I’m just saying it’s nothing that I wouldn’t expect any aspiring High School song writer to write.

See that right there, don’t take negative criticism so personally, take it and use it to better your future work, if you feel that every single song or poem you write is infallible, then why do you ask for people’s opinion in the first place?

Because nobody was making a personal attack on him, it’s just a criticism of his work, if somebody says the don’t like one of my songs and gives me a reason why and a way to make it better I always take it into account, the only time I would get mad is if somebody says IT SUCKS with no reason given(which I didn’t do)

Yea but if the song is bad. It´s not my fault.He/she must improve. There are people like: thos who have talent right away/thos who have talent, but must train how to use it/thos who have no talent and will never make a good song.

I realize it wasn’t directly intended, but as I said since he put his heart in to the song, it probably does feel like a personal attack. Honestly, you have to have been in a situation like that to understand the full value you know? I mean sure there is lots of people who DO put their emotions in to their songs you are right, but as I said, it’s something you have to experience. I suppose you could pull an Axl Rose on me and be like “Stop complaining about how life sucks, people go through that all the time." type deals. Still though.

It has nothing to do with the situation, there are some great song about people having there hearts broken, I just didn’t feel this particular one is one of them, and if you’re going to be a song writer you can’t take every negative criticism to heart or you’ll never amount to anything.

Yes but conflict of liking different styles does influence your opinion on if the person has talent or not. For instance, I think ICP sucks ass, but there is plenty of Juggalos out there who like that music even though I believe ICP has no talent. It’s all a matter of taste and it changes from person to person.

Why else would you post a song and then bump the topic unless you wanted people’s opinion?

FYI, this is in the wrong section.

That’s true, but there is a section specifically for Music, which is where it should go.

And after they read it you didn’t want to know what they thought of it?

And I responded with straight, that’s pretty short, but the thing is you only wanted positive responses, but you’re not going to get any better at anything if people keep on telling you things that are average at best are great.
