This site is in desperate need for an additional webmaster, somebody who can help Bjarne tackle the insane amount of coding as well as show an active interest in the site. Now I understand a lot of you think that an webmaster is simply a 'glorified' moderators. Maybe a few extra buttons that only Bjarne gets to see, but that simply is not the case. An webmaster is as powerful as he is because he can directly access the site’s coding and manipulate it freely. That means that when Bjarne does IP blocks, he doesn’t simply click a button, he goes into the manually writes in a parameter that stops a specific IP from accessing the website.
That’s where I come in, there aren’t too many people on the site who know how to code as well as Bjarne, but unlike many people I may actually have a shot at it. The site is coded using the following languages:
Language: PHP
Client-side scripting: JavaScript (not much)
Mark up language: X/HTML (like 99% of all websites)
Mark up styling: CSS (like 90 % of all websites)
I’ve been using PHP for the last 5 years and am incredibly efficient in it. I have taken classes in and mastered Java and am fully capable of writing both simple and complex programs in the languages. I use XHTML, HTML and CSS at work. So I actually know how to code in all of the languages that Bjarne would need.
Now many of you may be thinking “is this kid reliable”? It’s true that I’ve run on the wrong side of the law every once in a while. I’m certain most of you remember the instance when I hijacked Kev360’s (my younger brother) moderator account and ended up banning an unsavory member as a practical joke. But if you look at the track records of the current moderating team on this site, you’ll see that none of them are really all that much more innocent than myself. From posting pornography on the website to wide scale ban’s by moderators, I may actually be a safer choices than a majority of them.
Lets face it, there realistically are only a handful of people who have the experience to preform the job and this site DESPERATELY needs a new webmaster to assist Bjarne with some of the coding around here. The only other person who seems to be as qualified as myself for the job is Nazi Spy From Hell and that alone should be enough reason to give the position to me.

Qualifications:
* Can program in C, C , C# and have been doing so for over two years.
* Can program in Java as well as write highly sophisticated Java Applets.
* Can program in HTML, XHTML and CSS.
* Proficient with Photoshop, took 3 years worth of classes with the program in High School.
* Not Nazi Spy From Hell.

Well since there are around 25 users online at all times and around 150 guest IP’s checking out the site on average, that is a LOT of people posting, especially when you consider that the people log on and off over the day and yet the numbers online seem to stay the same.

I agree with Derdev.
The site is rather large and Bjarne doing it alone (Try to keep in mind, he has numerous projects, and a personal life.) seems to be rather difficult. (Especially with the amount of drama that seems to radiate from this site and it’s members.)
Derdev has all the qualifications, and he seems sincere.

I am, however, disappointed by your extreme self-promotion. You went so far as to claim that you and Nazi Spy are the only members capable of being a webmaster when there probably are other members who have similar qualifications. Tone down the self-promotion and instead try, for example, calling for anyone with the qualifications to let it be known that they have the qualifications.
