darth vane, well i’m an active mod, i mostly use this account but when need be i use the other one.
I was actually referring to the admins, since I’ve rarely seen them online, and are late to taking care of most problems, or don’t take care of them at all. Methinks it’s time for a new team, a team that will be more active and quick and precise when it comes to getting the job done.

Section mods don’t need power to ban. I have been a section mod for a while, but I didn’t have any problems regarding lack of this power to ban someone from a section. The problem just comes from guests, and they just change their IP around, so nothing we can do about it there. And besides, it’s not like the section mods are exactly the most reliable people ever.
The guest problem was what I was getting at.
Having power to ban IP addresses is definitely overpowered. Especially for a section mod. I don’t think even the Administrators have the power to do that. We’re fine as we are. It’s not like this happens every day or something. If there’s a problem, just close the topic.
But unlocking a topic is something that would be nice for section mods too. Am I right?
Yeah I think unlocking topics would be good, but admins don’t even have the power to unlock topic do they?

Section mods need to be able to give out light bans, 12 hours or so, so that when an admin isnt online spammers/trolls/whatever can be stopped until a admin can get online and decide how to handle the situation.

I think that would be good, but only if it were possible for admins to reverse bans. Which I think would be a good feature to have anyway.
