Maggot - kev didn’t break any rules, nor did anyone in that thread.
I can lock the thread if that is your wish (you were the author). Please confirm.

Yes. Please. Heck, can you delete it? Like... make it not show up at all? I’d rather we all just forget it happened. It was a mistake, and is best left forgotten.

Ok I locked it. The way I do it is I delete if the topic was really breaking the rules and lock if it just needs to be closed. This way it will end up buried in the pages and no one can bump it back up.

i don’t think topics should be deleted (with some exception). i think that they should sort of stand as reminders of what has gone on before, almost a recording of sorts. those who do not learn from the past are doomed to repeat it.

Yeah, only double-topics should be deleted, like double posts.
Or if it’s just absolutly senseless spam...no point to it whatsoever...

ya, that was the exception i was thinking of. i’m sure there are other things, but nothing comes to mind.

Well any other things I can think of locking would still do as well, eventually it would fall into the multipages and remain there, much like a deletion, but still present for reading.
