There’s a bit of interest in roleplaying that’s been sparked up in the on-topic section. What the problem is, is that it doesn’t happen like a snap of fingers; it takes time. Usually, when it takes time, it gets buried quickly, and people have to dig a little to get to that one specific thread. While this may not seem like a big deal, it can get tedious and loses interest in whatever roleplay it was that was started up.
I think, considering the active users interested and the above reason, there’s enough of a reason to have a roleplaying forum. It might help keep extra traffic as well for some of the people who stray onto this place.
And the testing forum. Honestly, it’s a good idea in practice, but it’s sometimes abused, kind of takes up space to begin with, and people can “test” in their posts, which can be edited to whatever they wanted anyway. If Bjarne would need to test something, it wouldn’t be that hard to do it the old-school way of making the test thread and deleting it after. Other people, admins or whatnot, can just test on their own posts and edit/delete/whatever else afterwards.
Would like some serious feedback, which is why I made the thread anyways. (before someone hounds me for making a thread and not outright contacting Bjarne)
And for the tl;dr people:
Put in RP forum
Get rid of Testing forum
Those are my ideas for now.
Both ideas are good, I like****************************** 60%
RP idea is good, but keep the testing forum******************** 40%
Both ideas suck 0%
RP idea is not good, but get rid of the testing forum 0%
