Basically doing it like NF or most other Vb forums. You send a friend request while having the option to ask the person that you want to befriend if he will do the same, if not, he or her can reject it, but you can still have the person as a part of your list of friends.

Exactly. Some people don’t even bother with their friends list. For example, if you look at my friends list you can see that I love Marly but it isn’t mutual.
