Yep me too. I sorta remember the first setup of this site. Looked different then. NOt to mention all the lack of stuff that we have now.

Removed a bunch of ads to try out something else.
Oh and for the people wondering about the “Latest Posts Here” section on user profiles, then yes I’m still working on it.
Also, for those wondering about the break - I have been traveling/vacationing.
I will look into a number of issues over the comming months.

You might have experienced a little slowdown during this morning, this happened because I had to do a major database update (added a complex index affecting more than 1,3 million rows). Due to this database change I have now enabled the “Latest Posts Here” section on user profiles again. Hopefully this time, the feature will not be a cause for slowdowns.

I noticed there is now a multiple-post delete function; is it planned for a similar function to occur for threads as well?

There’s something wrong with it..
Everytime I try to vote in a poll, it tells me I’m trying to delete messages..?

Well it is under construction too. I’m sure that’ll be fixed soon enough.

Think I got the feature to delete multiple messages from a given topic page fixed and sorted out now.
Report any further issues you encounter (if any).

Bjarne.. I’ve requested this before.. And I’m requesting it again.
Moderators need the ability to be able to ban an account from that account’s userpage.
There’s somebody sending spamming PMs out to various members, and it’s difficult for me to ban those users because they haven’t made a single post on the forums.
I’m currently using a small glitch that Golden Raptor showed me to ban them via the PMs, but it’s dangerous to do and if I mess up I can wrongly ban somebody. I actually banned myself and Xtrm Liability once using the glitch.
So yeah.. I think that giving Moderators the ability to ban from user profiles should be a priority. =/

That is one of the PMs that was sent.. There are likely dozens more just like it because it took me a couple minutes to ban the account.

I would agree, but I’m not a mod. I believe Rockman Kenny was one that was spamming. BTW, your link doesn’t work.

thats because its a pm. you can’t view other people’s pm’s. i could for a while (a while before i became a mod, mind you), but bjarne fixed that glitch. oh well. its probably better like that.

The PMs contained nothing but the words “welcome to the jungle bitch”
The same person who was spamming PMs was also attempting to spam the forums before that with the same message. After I banned his 4 accounts that were spamming the forums he got pissed and tried to spam my inbox, which was a failure because I knew that glitch to ban from PMs. After I banned four account trying to spam my PM box he began spamming another member’s PM box.. Not sure who, but I saw that his profile said “post saved” so I decided to go PM diving to find the PMs he was sending and I banned those four accounts as well. =/
