That’s the guy I told you about last year in pm who added all registered users (up till about 17,000) as friends. You’re likely to find many offensive names in there.

Bit of chaos with the simple fact of people (including mods) having difficulty adjusting to the name changes.

I actually thought of something similar. On Advent Children Forums they allowed anybody to change their name for a price. You had to collect gil by posting.
I thought of suggesting that Bjarne gives us each one point for every post we make, then allowing anybody to change their name for 10,000 points. That way anyone who had enough points could change their own name, but couldn’t do it so many times that it’d be confusing to everyone.
Like, I’d only be able to change my name four times. After that, got to get to 50,000 posts. Most of the members capable of changing their names wouldn’t only be able to do it once or twice.. So, not a whole lot of confusion.
