Currently I am having some problems with apache (the webserver that delivers everything you see). It appears to be crashing (or rather locking up, because it keeps running yet refuses connections). I’m working on a fix. Of course whenever I notice it is down I restart it immediately.
The server also appears to have been under DDOS attack by some ill meaning folks. I’m constantly working on defensive measures. Just this day I modded apache with an evasive mod against flooding of requests.

Solution still not found
I may be changing server, not only because of this, but some other problems as well. If I do change server it will be to one that is about twice as fast as well
Also, I do not expect you will would ever notice if/when I change server. At the very most you might be unable to post new messages for max 24 hour period (to preserve database integrity on new server).

The apache problem has been partly fixed (we still have not figured out WHY it crashes once each day - however we have a cron job running that will restart it within 5 minutes of crashing).
The downtime this night was not caused by our server. The datacenter in which the server is placed (wholesaleinternet) was reconfigured/upgraded - and in that relation some problems occured :-( (the downtime SHOULD have been MAX 1 hour but was much longer)
