Should the Short Story comments section be un-stickied?

It as been suggested that the Short Story Comments section be un-stickied as it is not really being used anymore.

I am inclined to believe this also as the majority of the comments seem to wind up in Main story section anyhow.

What I am asking is whether or not you think that it should be let loose into the main off topic rather than stay perched precariously in the upper section.

Your views will influence my actions on this subject.

That is not the point.
The members who have spent many hours writing something for that thread deserve to have it stickied and stickied it will stay.

yes it should, why would u go to another topic to comment about posts on another topic. thas kinda stupid.

The whole idea was that the main story thread was for STORIES ONLY and the other comments thread was for comments. This was done to ensure that the stories would be easy to read and not be lost in a jumble of comments. Especially if they were posted as chapters at different time as the author had finished them. This worked at first but soon after, comments started appearing on the main thread and then people responded to those comments, and it all snowballed from there.Now the main thread is half comments and half stories which does make it hard to read sometimes.

That is why originally there was two story threads. One for the actual stories and the other for the comments.

I think that if you don’t want comments in the actual story thread that a PM would have sufficed or they could have simply made a thread saying nice job, it would have been harmless enough with that.

But if no one is using it it’s just really taking up space.

I think it should be unstickied personally. But I believe we’ll have to figure out which mod stickied it in the first place if we want to remove it.

There is no reason as to why the comments is stickied. I agree on unsticky it.
