360 "3 red lights" finally fixed by M$

M$ finally stops “3 red lights”

Supposudly if ur 360 broke now u could send it in and they’d put in a special cooler into the 360 preventing the GPU from overheating, preventing the “3 rings of death”.


So if u buy a new 360 or send one in to the repair it’ll prbly have the new GPU heatsink in it making ur 360 so it no longer breaks.

lol, it looks like a mini air conditioner.

i know......i’v had mine since launch and lukily it hasn’t broken. But now taht this is out there i want mine to break so that i can send it in, get it fixed, and never have to worry about it breaking. There’s also the extremely cool and quite 65-nm chip coming soon.

i wasn’t able to read them but i rememebr reading something saying that it’s in 360’s in all countries.

u’ll notice that the new cooling system is specifically designed to cool the GPU and CPU....

Reult: no more 3 red lights.

Pop open your 360 by taking off the top lid (this will break your warranty) and take out the back fan (the fan is what makes 90% of the noise) make the 360 stand up, (this allows better air passage as the vents under the disk drive have more room to vent in cold air) and have a house fan point at the opened side of the 360.

Your 360 will make barely any noise, it will be about as loud as the original Xbox, it will be WAAAAAAAAAY cooler, your chances of the LOD is super low.

Me and my friend did this to his, you can’t even hear it, and the entire 360 is either cold or slightly warm.
