If it ever breaks, all your data and money is down the drain. And you can run out of space.

thats why you can use memory cards. it doesnt make a difference. anything can break. your money is not down the drain when it can be redownloaded.
they can make the flash drives detachable like ps3/360. it can have a small slot to stick it in just like a memory card. the problem is memory cards cant hold as much as flash drives. it would be pointless to have more than 2 memory cards when the point is to decrease the amount of items that has to be carried around. 20 cartridges cannot realistically fit in a man’s pocket.

No it doesn’t. It connects to your master account. PS3 and PSP already does this. You can download games onto other PS3 or PSP systems but they can’t be played without the account.

Nintendo is not known for having the most secure systems.

Master account? You’re assuming Ninty will have all this stuff setup? No. They won’t. They are Ninty, not Sony or MS. They don’t push forward anymore.

not it isn’t. ipod has built in hdds.
And if your ipod busts you’re fucked. At least if you have a cartrige or something it’s all backed up.
i have it all backed up on a computer.
a flash drive doesn’t have the problems a hdd has. they’re very reliable.
Actually yeah, you’re right my bad lol.
However say that it was a system like a PC or something with a built in Hard Drive. It would be a bit different then.

First of all what your suggesting without permission of the developers is illegal. Your on thin ice with that.
Secondly if a developer supported this no retailer would sell their consoles. Why? Because digital distribution would kill the profits they make off of the biggest entertainment form in the world. Thus no dev will go this way at all. Just deal with it. Only way it would work is if on each console if there is a portal for all the major retailers so that it has to go through them. Otherwise retail games will still exist for a long time to come.

1. My suggestion is not illegal.
2. They sell PSPs and PSPs already do this. You can download PSP games online on both the PC and PS3. We’re already there.
