After so much hype and long droughts of nothing on the game, we finally got to see a live demo of it at the E3 2009 conference. And yet, upon watching it, I was so disappointed that I’m not even psyched. I’ll probably still get it, but man it was just such a boring demo. I mean it didn’t seem atmospheric at all while the combat looked lame and cheesy along with the enemies.
I mean maybe it’s hard going down from Resident Evil 4 to anything, but just on a comparison it doesn’t even rank. And that game was released 5 years ago. Hopefully the more I see of it the hype will raise but for now I’m not really that impressed. Seems like it’ll be awhile before we get another great survival horror along the lines of RE4 and the other REs considering RE5 couldn’t do it at all.
Well it tries to be atmospheric and story driven... but it didn’t seem to do it all that well. Then it goes to this half assed and retarded combat systems with these creatures that are so cheesy they could be straight out of spongebob. I mean they had all this time and this is what they delivered to me... man why buy that when I can just go play RE4 another time haha.

I know right? I(Like everyone else) have been waiting a long ass time to see what these enemies will deliver in real time and it was cheesy shit!

Yep pretty much. I mean maybe it’ll get better before launch, but for now I really don’t care too much. To think, that was my most hyped 360 exclusive... till now. I’ll stick with Mass Effect 2 and Halo: ODST.

Alan Wake...I remember seeing an old video of this game back when Intel was showing off their quad-core CPU’s. It seems interesting, but meh...
I think I can wait until the next (non-Wii) Dead Space comes out if I want a thrill.
