Nintendo just announced 3 new games, aside from Zelda Spirt tracks, these new ones are already looking incredible.
1. New Super Mario Bros wii- 4 player co-op platformer were others play as Mario, Luigi, blue toad, and red toad. Already coming out this year.
2. Super Mario Galaxy 2- has yoshi and is a direct sequal.
3. Golden Sun DS, I was asounted when I saw this, they are finally bringing back the series in 2010.
4, The 4th game blew my mind and made me happy, it was a game by Nintendo and team ninja, the trailer starts off with an ocean view, goes to space, and you see a girl with blone hair looking out over the space window. In this ship, you see a man and as he looks at her he says I thing;
“Any objections Lady?"
That girl is Samus.
This new game is called Metroid, Other M. It reveals the back story to samus herself and is a 3rd person Metroid action adventure game. It looks intense like nothing ever seen before in the series. We get an entirely new game and I am already awaiting 2010.
Yea Nintendo just unloaded with huge new games based off large properties. Rating wise, I tie them with MS, but give them the advantage in the battle. Sony better fucking bring it or they are in trouble.
I am so glad to hear of a new metroid, I am definity picking up the prime triolgy later this year because the new control on those games WITH the old controls enabled is really no loss at all. Plus just by playing the 1st Metroid Prime with the wii controls, that could give me a very nice insight to what lies in the future.
I am happy to see the franchise still going and not go dormant again. Since Prime was a risk but turned out great, I see no reason to not pick this up since now Samus is gone into 3rd person, a type of metroid game people always dreamed of.
I would still prefer to see another Metroid shooter, but those can always come back considering the universe Hunters opened and the 100% ending prime 3 gave, when Retro does go back, we surely will see the successor to the Prime triology. In all, I think this one was made because both it expands the series and Retro is taking a break but will surely continue the Metroid FPS IP in the near future. E3 is not over and we may see an announcement later on.

Sounds like I didn’t miss much just more sequels and not any new games.
Microsoft basiclly did the same thing,
Halo 3:ODST
CODMW2
Rock Band Beatles
CrackDown 2
Left 4 Dead 2
etc,
most of what they announced are expansions or sequels.
I know LOL Microsoft has been the worst on that so far. It seems like Sony is doing the same though. We need some new series starting up not Blah Blah 2 or generic game 15

I guess some of you did not see the intense gameplay Metroid: other M had.
I didn’t, can you please post a video so I can see what’s so amazing? And 1 game isn’t going to make up for a whole conference. They haven’t released a Zelda since 2006, no they haven’t even announced a Zelda since 2006. And I don’t count Phantom Hourglass or Spirit Tracks because those games are cheap piss-off, spin-off games that ruin the series.
