In the aftermath of Black Friday, sales will naturally go down. But still pretty beastly week and should never go donw from this at least until the last week of December. Will probably go up until then. Got to love the holidays. Anyways lets start with hardware. I’ll give you the platform, sales this week(percent of increase/decrease), and LTD in this region:
Some quick things. Wii and DS accounted for just over 50% of all sales this week. They just wouldn’t settle for a plurality eh. A scary thing. Sales of DS and GBA is more than PSP, PS3, and PS2 combined. Even scarier PS2 and PSP over PS3. And the scariest. GBA and GC still selling.
Now onto software. Top 30. I’ll give you rank, game, this week’s sales, and LTD in the region.

I still can’t get over it how Wii Play is showing up Halo 3. I don’t know if it’s sad for the market in general or simply sad for Halo haha. Americans aren’t all about blood and gore haha.

OH and not including bundled titles, which include Wii Sports, Marvel: Ultimate Alliance, Forza 2, and Motorstorm, that makes it 3 weeks in a row that Galaxy is at the #1 spot in America.

well Halo 3 is....nearly 4 months old...most ppl who wanted it bought it alrdy.
However Wii play is also old but the thing is ppl still want the Wii and why not pick up Wii play along with it? I mean it also comes with a wii-mote.
Thing is 360 isn’t selling very well, most ppl who liked H3 alrdy bought it, and lots of ppl still want Wii’s and tehy see Wii-mote as “must have”.

Over where I live if a Wii is sitting in the store, that means in .2 seconds after that people will be dog piling and there are a lot of places that sell Wiis, hell I live in Cali. Some people are paying $600 for Wii this holiday season

My bro’s Gamestop got in 3 Wiis on Sunday. Literally people were there waiting for them to be unpacked from the UPS truck to buy them haha. It’s crazy man haha.

Demon- no America is the good market for 360. If you notice its the only region left that Wii hasn’t passed it in LTD sales. ONly 2 million behind though, but ya know its holding its own, although if Wii had enough supply it could have passed it.
Anyways probably true, but it shows the strong legs that games like Wii Play has. Game will sell over 10 million worldwide, and I don’t say that about many titles haha, as it is so hard to do.
