NDS- 905,868(+25%) 20,120,614
Wii- 740,791(+326%) 8,178,979
360- 367,304(+11%) 10,125,265
PS2- 302,260(+19%) 46,565,604
PSP- 278,968(+11%) 11,094,851
PS3- 226,263(+17%) 3,363,522
GBA- 78,208(+29%) 41,393,552
NGC- 6,119(+19%) 12,736,074
First DS pops out 900k, coming close to a million in one week. The record by the way for one week in NA, is 966k by the PS2 way back in December of 2002. DS gave it a good run though. DS has now sold over 20 million units in all major regions.
Wii increaes by more than 300%, which 2:1 360 sales and more than 3:1 PS3 sales. 360, PS3, PSP, and PS2 have regular rises but Nintendo hardware reigns, accounting for 60% of all sales this week.

Video gaming business sees biggest week in history/ Nintendo DS sells 2 million units in seven days The week ending 22nd December 2007 saw the greatest sales the video gaming business ever achieved in history. According to the data collected by VGchartz.com more than 5.4 million gaming systems and 21.6 million software units have been sold during the last week of the Christmas shopping season.
The sales leader was the Nintendo DS with more than 2.0 million units sold, breaking the PS2´s all time record of 1.7 million units in seven days.
Wii took the number two spot, selling in excess of 1.4 million units – outselling Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 combined.
The Playstation Portable continues to sell well with more than 725,000 units worldwide. On the other hand software sales for Sony’s handheld continue to disappoint considering the big user base – only 880,000 software units were sold last week, a weekly attach rate of less than 1.3 games per system.
The HD systems sold head to head with the Xbox 360 having the edge in the US and the Playstation 3 outselling its competitor by a great margin in Japan (although selling at a disappointing slow rate of less than 60,000 units in the biggest week of 2007) and to a lesser extend in Europe.
Worldwide the Playstation 3 took the number 4 spot with 620,000 units outselling the Xbox 360 by a mere 30,000 systems.
Worldwide software charts showed strong performance of Nintendo games with the publisher taking 8 of the top 10 spots and a total of more than 7.3 million games. Electronic Arts took the numbers two spot with more than 2.6 million software units sold beating both Activision and Ubisoft with sales of 1.7 and 1.1 million software units respectively.
