I got a media associate I know at Best Buy to sell me one early ^_^
And it’s shit yourself scary. Then again I always play it at night with the lights turned off for the proper atmosphere (it actually helps make it scarier, even with other people in the room).

I wonder if you’re a person watching, it feels like watching a horror movie.

Is the game actually scary? and if so... is it Bioshock scary? (mild) Or condemend 2 scary? (OMWTF AHH)Or beyond? or is it not even scary?
I’ve jumped and screamed “fuck you," or “holy shit” in about a hundred different ways since I started playing.
The enemies sometimes make disturbing noises but the most fucked up sounds are from the fuckers attached to the walls. Other than that there’s a lot of eerie noises going on in the background, like something falling or creaking so make it seem likes there’s something there, but there’s not.

So is it worse than Condemned 2? That game had some screwed up shit as well.

I’d say so. Dead Space has it’s messed up moments as well.
What I like about it is that no matter how you play the game, it’s going to own you. If you take it slow down every corridor, you’re going to feel like you’re being stalked. If you run through any point, you will feel panic and most likely you are going to be chased. If you go to a room where you know that there are going to be enemies, there isn’t any. If you return to a security station many times in a level and know that it’s safe, an enemy will get into the room and scare the shit out of you.

Well, I guess some people have different scare points, but I don’t find aliens all that scary.
I watched Alien at age 10 and I thought it was kind of boring :/
I thought playing through Thomas’s dreams were scary as hell because it was hard to tell if it was actually happening or not.

Nice. Looking forward to getting a small dose of high from being scured.
Something fucking halarious happened when me and my friend were playing Condemned 2; we were beating this guy with a pipe, and the guy I’m fighting is swinging around like a maniac swearing like hell, and I just simply throw the pipe at his head and he falls to his knees. We grab hold of him, and we brought him into an open bathroom stall with a shit-filled toilet. I did a finishing move where you dunk his head into the toilet and curb stomp him freshman style.

Oh no, alien zombie mutants aren’t scary at all. Tough guy right here boys and girls.
Play the game and then tell me you are immune to that fear.
Also, another scary tidbit is that the necromorph females actually sound slightly feminine, which is weird as hell when fighting them.
