Anybody here play Lumines?

I bought it a few weeks ago, and... I can’t put it down at all. I procrastinate on my homework for the sake of this game. I dream of orange and white colored-blocks falling down and making squares.

Is anybody else infatuated with this game like I am?

If you are, what’s your best Time attack score (60 sec)? Mine’s currently 74.

I’ve played it before. Amazing game. Really is. One of the best games if not the best on the PSP in my opinion.

yeah... whoever came up with the idea for the game deserves an award. “best puzzler since tetris”. And that’s an understatement.

It’s the same guy who created meteos, which is an amazing game as well for anyone that has played it. Think he works for Q Entertainmanet or something like that. I’d have to look it up. But true genius.

That’s it. It’s too bad he’s making all these games for the 360 to help it’s case out in Japan and they are all failing miserably. Such a waste of his amazing talents really.

And Blue Dragon. Man great game but would have sold so much better on PS3 or Wii.

from a technical stand-point, it would have been better-suited for the PS3, as that was part of Tetsuya’s artistic vision. The Wii would have trouble outputting a landscape that large with as much detail as it has. And since it can’t support HD... the PS3 would be the better choice. In terms of sales, though, it’s a mixed bag... the Wii would possibly win, simply because it has penetrated so many households, but the PS3 might be an all-around better host for the title, as the title would become an immediate killer-app AND a reason to buy a PS3.

Yea but either way 360 was the worst choice to put it on. I think we can both agree with that.

Lumines is a game I MUST PLAY!

I would buy a PSP for this game...I’ve always loved puzzlers and I loved Meteos so much, so I couldn’t go wrong. At least there’s to of 'em on the PSP.
