I think they’ve done an okay job. Had an entire channel devoted to it and had a good streak of commercial advertising. That’s probably a good $10 million spent on advertising when you include posters and whatnot elsewhere.

The price of the commercials, development of channel, posters, signs, ect and store advertising probably cost Nintendo $10 million in advertising. That’s usually how much most market for an average game. Some would say Metroid should be advertised as much as things like Brawl or Galaxy or Halo but I think this is sufficient.

Well when you have a company that can throw around $100 million for advertising as its nothing then yea. Companies like Nintendo on the other hand can’t spend $100 million to advertise a solo game like that.
