this is NOT CGI, this is rendered in real time with the new HD4800 cards

hopefully within 3 years games will actually look like this smiley

there’s a good chance the XBOX720/PS4 generation might have visuals like this as well or even better

The Cinema Chip is a beast.

That’s a trillion calculations a second. This simply chews up all other GPU’s out there.

???... WTF2U. Not even the GTX280 can process a Teraflop.

If you’re talking about gaming permfomance, then nothing matches the 4870x2. A GTX280 can just barely beat a 4870 but it’s twice the price. nVidia had to cut the prices of their brand new cards by a landslide just to stop the bleeding. They also had to release a new GTX260 with more stream processors just to try and keep up with the 4870.

None of that even takes into account that ATI is making a killing due to the much smaller die size of the 4800 series when compared with the GTX2xx series.

Quie a few cards that are better huh? Try 1’s of cards or maybe 2 if you’re being extremely kind to nVidia. On the other hand if you’re being kind to ATI and counting the 4870x2, that far outperforms the 280 and has a lower price too, then that makes it a big fat 0.

Please don’t make things up and mislead others.
