i dont think microsoft is capable of lowering the price that much, specially after all the 360s being defective

Xbox official already said that sales are good and don''t plan to lower the price. This was on Digg (which is where I guess you got it from) and it seems that this was started by someone just to “counter” on the “price-drop” by Sony.
