battlefield bad company

does iron site need to be used like in call of duty 4 or is it just a new addition like gta iv’s cover system where the cover system doesn’t need to be used and just adds an extra layer of depth? does it revolve around the stupid iron sites?
because in call of duty 4 i got really annoyed with the iron sites because u cant circle around your enemy while shooting them. i only liked it in medal of honor because it was only used when you were hiding behind something so being stationary wasnt so bad.
can i run and gun in bad company and still be fine?

no it isnt, you cant move when using iron sites and you have to use iron sites. it gets annoying having to use it.

is that one of the perks? thats really gay. they should have just done away with iron sites. why waste a perk on something that shouldnt have been a problem in the first place?

of course there is strategy and you can stay in one area and set mines to take out all the tanks going through and do other things but the last game you could choose to just run and gun if you wanted to instead of doing more strategic stuff. thats what i liked about the game.

BF: BC is less of a run-n-gun game than COD4 was imo. And if you want to hit your enemies accuratly and not die, then yes you’ll want to use your iron sights.

thats not what im saying. im saying is is it just as easily possible in that game to run around shooting people without using the iron sites? i want to know of it revolves around the iron sites like in call of duty or if it just an additional option.

No, you’ll need the iron sights.

I’m not sure...i usually only use the assualt rifes which do need it.

It’s totally different, just the destructibility it’s self makes it much different,

and not all guns use the iron sites even if the model has them on it.

Ehhh....it’s more of a battlefiled feel i’d say.

Well... It’s a bit different, a few dumb gameplay changes have been made like no crouching, and it’s hard to tell where your being shot from, but overall its still epic.
