Best Game of Fall 2007

Vote for your favorite game of fall 2007. I couldn’t include all of 2007 because there were just too many great games and you can only have 9 options.

Hey what’s with the add-on on Galaxy. It’s been rated the best game, so I wouldn’t be surprised if most people voted it the best game.

Should add next to Halo 3, and I suck Bungie’s balls haha.

yea it was between Mass Effect and Galaxy for me, but I only got to watch someone play Mass Effect so couldn’t vote for it. Had to go with Galaxy.

And nothing else was even close so yea.

I just wanted to qualify it because it’s unfair because a lot more people have Wiis. This way you can see if a person is being bias because they only have a Wii or if they played other games too and still decided that Galaxy was the best.

Jeff Gerstmann is the man. He knocked Zelda: TP because of technical things. You have to admit the graphics kinda sucked and the music was still synthesized, come on Nintendo spend the extra cash for an orchestra.

I like CoD 4, but it didn’t give me that same great feeling that i got from the other games. I think it’s because i’m just not a huge fan of military stories.

But anyways wasn’t enough to knock it down to an 8.8. I mean if that was the only flaw, then sounds like it should have at least gotten a 9.5. I mean Halo 3 had a hell of a lot more flaws and that got reviewed higher haha.

But Halo had multiplayer and co-op which brought the score back up.

Also Halo 3 had a MUCH higher production value

But Zelda had a 40 hr, single player with at least 30 hrs of extras. That’s enough replay value for a single player game.

The fact of the matter is that most reviewers don’t do shit at scoring a game based on what they say. When they go to review a game they already know the score they are going to give it. They simply just add a bunch of words in it before.

Zelda’s main story took you 40 hours to play? wow you must have really sucked at those puzzles. I beat the game in like 25 hours with all but 3 or 4 heart pieces. I even took my time. Zucas that was a huge exaggeration and you know it.

Halo is good for people like myself who don’t like playing campaign stories again, but still like to play the game. I’m like that with movies too, once is enough for me.

Took me like 33 hrs if I remember correctly, but for average players that’s the time it would have taken. I mean in most reviews for Gears they said it’s about a 10-15 hr storymode, when we all know it was only about 5. People when doing this give time for what an average player might do it in. I did as well.

When I score on replay value, I go if it has over 40 hrs of replay value, with at least 20 hrs of that coming from single player, then it deserves a 10 in replay value. Simple as that.

the thing is i don’t know how fun it is to replay. once you know how to solve the puzzles it gets boring, your just going through the motions. At least with something like Gears or Halo when you play it again the battles will play out totally different and you can play it with a friend. That’s a big reason Gears got such high scores, because of the fact that online Co-op was one of the best experiences ever.

Gears is crap. Simply put.

Now Halo 3 co-op I could see as very fun. Damn this no 360.
