I have not played KOTOR but I can say this, for 1,000 years before episode 1 with all that time to advance their already futurustic galaxy, you are left wondering how their civilizations stood with little advancements in tech.

There’s a theory that after a long period of time of technological advancements man’s capacity of intelligence will hit a stalemate and advancements will stop.
When I first read the title, Kights of the old republic, I thought that it was during the era around the beginning of episode 1 not 1,000 years before hand.

KOTOR for me, but I love Jedi Outcast as well. I feel like playing Rogue Squadron now...
Ok, what I hate in KOTOR is the factthat when you leave the Sith embassy on Manaan, they say they can overwhelm you. Please... Revan could solo the whole of ahto city. I mean he uses destroy droid on the droid, lightsabers the Selkath, and force kills all the Sith. But other than that Kotor than BF2.
