Yeah, we’ve heard alot about Platinum selling
“sport” games (like Need for Speed and UEFA soccer
games) but the WWE are not “usually” mentioned.

(ha ha Vince Machman will love me for marketing this lol)

So what are the best WWE games guys, I heard there
was a riot when Smackdown vs Raw (2005) came out

Yeah, sport games like FIFA World Cup and Rugby are on top of the charts when it comes to PS2 Platinum selling games. WWE games are not (well maybe because they arn’t marketed well) and even now, Smackdown vs Raw 2009 and 2010 are just
“dull” as they are presented.

Yeah, almost every school kid (boy) talked about the game. Where ever I went out during break, tuck
shops, sports field, detention (ha ha ha I was very naughty back then lol), extra classes and even in the toilets the game was talked about!!!!!

Awesome

Problem is that it started to cool down when Smackdown vs Raw 2006 came out

No, not really. Smackdown vs Raw 2006 was marketed
well just like it’s previus successor Smackdown vs
Raw 2005.

I remember before air shows like Raw would play on
tv, Smackdown vs Raw 2006 would be shown and after
Smackdown aired down, Smackdown vs Raw 2006 would be shown. However, when Smackdown vs Raw 2007 came
out, that’s when all the hype and commotion died out.

Well, that’s understandable....if you have never played a PS2 and still have a PS1 set and play PS1 games

No, I agree with big daddy, Smackdown vs Raw 2006 still had hype (even though not as much as the original one).

The Smackdown franchise started to loose it when Smackdown vs Raw 2007 came out, and many people who are a fan of SvR series started to loose interest in
the game.

Yeah, it’s thanks to that new “analog” system they introduced in the game
