You’re forgeting the new hunters in Prime 3, there’s at least 3 more.

Samus is invulnerable to projectiles. Weavel and Sylux have shields based of hers, yet less powerful. Kanden was created to literaly be imortal. Spire is solid rock and trace can cloak whiel not moving.

The hunters can’t take down 375 spartans. Spartans are quite a bit smarter than grunts. They are highly trained super soldiers, one which took down an entire ship of covenant (Twice, once in Halo and then again in Halo 2 with a bomb). Besides, the hunters only have 1 energy tank.
Of corse a hunter could kill 375 spartans with pistols, but you wouldn’t send spartans into the battlefield with pistols, you’d probably give them assault rifles or battle rifles. They WOULD kill a hunter without much trouble with 375 assault and/or battle rifles.

No they don’t. In hunters they only had their special weapon and their alternative to morph ball
