Its simple! Like a report card put an A B C D or F on the Gamecube xbox ps2, psp, DS, Wii, Xbox 360 and PS3, Atari etc.
A = not perfect but everyone should own one and has very little but tolerable issues. Had some amazing games. One of those great systems.
B = it has a lot going for it, maybe a technical issue or design problem, get it but dont rush out to get it. Games are for the most part great. These are good systems.
C = Average, plain, nothing awesome or bad about it. Maybe borrow it.
D = Broken. This console had little going for it, bad devs, games etc. The games for it are just basically play and quit before beating it. Major design and/or technical issues. Dont even bother.
F = busted, failed. This console shouldnt have been made. Poor marketing, playing with poop would be more fun.

alright the clans are back!!!! Lets revive the game section!
GC B (Melee. Period.)
PS2 B (FF. Period.)
Xbox B (Stuff I don’t give a crap about that people love. Period.)
N64 A (It was good when it came out. The games, for the most part.)
PS1 B+ (Eh, not bad.)
SNES A
NES B
Wii A (Innovative controls. At least it’s somewhat revolutionary.)
Xbox 360 B+ (Graphics. Some fun games involving wars.)
PS3 B+ (It’s all about graphics. Hardly innovative, but hey! Graphics! And FF games are good.)
NDS B (Could’ve been better. Touching thing was kinda fun.)
PSP B (Never had it myself. But judging from its amazing graphics, and FF Crisis Core, sure.)
Dreamcast/Saturn C+ (Underrated. Came out too late.)
Atari B

let the big boys talk about surviving a zombie apocalypse...
NES: A+(so many new and original games came out, revolutionary new ideas, and revolutionary new way of playing games. Truly the greatest console ever for its respective time)
Master System: C-(had a select few good games but really wasn’t much too it)
SNES: A(greatest collection of games ever)
Genesis: B+(lots of new games came out and a few new ideas incorporated)
N64: A(awesome amount of games with some of the most critically acclaimed ever, great controller, and awesome new features)
PS1: B(introduced a lot of new games but ulitmately lacked comparatively to the N64)
Saturn: D(very limited selection and just not alot of anything worth getting)
Dreamcast: B+(lots of new games with awesomde ideas and way ahead of its time)
PS2: A-(largest library of games ever with a lot of quality in there, some cool new ideas, and jsut about everything it needed)
NGC: B-(had some of the best games ever with powerful hardware, but lacked in originality and differentiation)
Xbox: B-(a mediocre library but saved by the awesome Xlive although not original thx to Dreamcast’s online with some cool new ideas)
Xbox 360: B(limited library but excells in those limitations, but awesome features, hardware, and some new ideas for online world)
Wii: B+(diverse library but lacks in a lot of plentiful strong games, but awesome control setup, interface, and lots of functionality)
PS3: B+(awesome hardware with amazing features way ahead of its time, it also has a very diverse lineup that once again lacks in a lot of powerful ones)
NES: A (Revived gaming in the West. This is the reason you have XBox 360, Playstation 3, and even Wii now)
SNES: A (More great games brought into the 16-bit level. Plethora of great platformers and RPG’s)
N64: B (Good graphics, but a pretty iffy controller. Expansion pack was a shitty idea, and the games were dwindling. Still, has some of the best games in history and effectively brought gaming to 3-D)
Playstation: B (Pretty much told the world what Sega didn’t seem to, CD’s are the future. Epic games, great marketing. Popularized gaming to a whole new level. Probably the most versatile controller ever, minus the Wii Remote)
PS2: A (Massive and diverse library of games. Helped the rise of DVD movies. Not much more to say, but it was pretty much all good)
XBox: B (Introduced an effective online infrastructure. Games library was to be desired and the cost for it all isn’t too justifiable)
Gamecube: C (Good games, but Nintendo lost too much support. Little to no online support)
Wii: B (Better library than Gamecube, but still lacking strong 3rd party support. Revolutionary controller and Nintendo’s first true foray into online, but controller has too many addons and the online is lacking due to security issues. Still behind on DLC)
PS3: B (Expensive. Some good games, but no library quite like PS2. Cheap blu-ray player and many good features, as well as ever-improving online features.)
XBox 360: B (Largest library, I think, of the current gen, but not very diverse. Some great games. Online costs money, and not necessarily for the better. Nevertheless, Live is well integrated. Loads of content in the Marketplace, including media, games, and extra content. Essentially a system if you don’t want to upgrade your PC to play the same games.)
I never really had any Sega systems. A shame, to say the least.

PS2: A (The PS2 just had an amazing number of games and was a pretty good system overall.)
360: B+ (The 360 has a lot of great games on it. Infact it has the largest library of this gen and the best online for consoles. However the hardware failures are a pain.)
N64: B+ (So many awesome games. Since i never played the NES or SNES this was the first Nintendo console I owned and let me tell you it was the bomb.)
PS1: B (Not as many amaing games as the N64 or PS2 but it was a still a great console and had some very cool games.)
PS3 B-: (So far I haven’t been too happy with the lineup of games, however this year is truly looking good for the PS3. The PS3 may become my favorite cosnole of this gen by the end of this year.)
Wii: C+ (I love the motion controls. It’s a great console but is lacking many hardcore games.)
Xbox: C (so...you have the Halo series, Fable and the Knights of the Old Republic for exclusives. I never played Xbox Live but after playing Halo 2 i had a small idea of how it was on the original Xbox. Personally it wasn’t nearly as good as the 360’s online imo.)
Gamecube: C- (Hurray you’ve got Super Smash Bros one of my faborite fighting games. But I never really played anything else on this console.)
btw i based most of my reviews off games and online...
