technically it was reffered as a woman because it carries samus' genetic code.

i dont think it carrys anything of samus code because as the video that i saw i only saw MP take a way her suit and nothing else so i dont think that mp took some of her genes

but the suit is partially intergrated and if you scan her it says it contains phazon and some of her genetic material.
skin residue, hairs some things can be just left behind.

i didnt se that but she did have the other suit in the bottom

still the scan says exactly that.
hell, go onto the metroid website and go to metroid prime 2, go find dark samus and ta-da it should say the exact scan.
