This thread will be used to determine who has the better points in our debates.
The rules are simple.
A topic will be declared and posted at the end of this post. Darkness will make the first argument the I will counter it, he will will counter me the I him. This will go on until a winner is declared, the circumstances for loosing are as followed.
1. One of us admits defeat, in which case a point will be awarded to the other.
2. One of us steps out of line and flames the other. This will constitute a point for the other person.
If either of these occurs the current topic will be archived on this post and a new topic will be declared, the old topic will no longer be discussed.
Observers are allowed to voice an opinion about the debtors, but are not allowed to participate in the actual debate.
I just think this is a good way to settle debates. Take another party and let them decide who is the winner. I’ll look over it and give my choice later on.
So, I sort of finished reading the Squall versus Cloud debate, and I don’t really know what to make of it :P
It seems this winner of this thread is based on who has more skill which is based on who has more combat experience. In that case would it be Cloud since he has had more of it? However this was the quote that sealed the deal for Cloud winning.

If you know me, I like debates being based mostly on what the character can bring to the battle. Even if Squall has more skill, I don’t think he would be able to counter this. Cloud could end up being the victor if Squall can’t beat this.
I have “debated” with darkness several times myself, his arguements closely mimic those of Yusif in that he will not sacrifice any ground even after a point against him has been proven beyond a shadow of a doubt, but will emphaticly exert that his opinion is the only one that matters, without providing any reliable facts. He, like most politicians, uses “fuzzy math”, in which his own interpretation of something is always correct and no ammount of revealing the laws of physics to him will change his possition. He also freaquently changes his opinion for a day or so, then reverts to his orginal opinion, claiming that an outside source was posting as him (IE his brother, a hacker, ect.)
I have also read some of the debates that Cid has and find him to be a very knowledgeable debator. He is willing to listen to others arguements and criques them accordingly.
My judgement is as follows, Cid is the clear winner of the arguement, due to his overwelming use of facts and his obvious lack of bias.
I once again, sort of finished reading the Vincent vs Cloud debate, and I’m even more at a loss than I was with the other one. I think you guys may have side tracked a little. In terms of actually debating however, I would say you are better Cid, but both of you went a bit off-topic.
I can’t really decide who is winning the debate, since you guys aren’t comparing feats or powers of Cloud and Vincent, but opponents that they have faced, and judgeing that whoever had the stronger opponent would be the winner.
Again though, I didn’t read the whole thing so correct me if I’m wrong.
...im not Naru thats the only thing i disagree with and Dare deve is correct that is all true....but i do yeild if i belive myself to be wrong, also it was my brother lol thats the bloody thing (biteing fist) little shit has mocked my name.
also would you read the bloody arguement even if i am an ashole its quight clear you dont have to say im right just that i have a fair case as there is no real truth im just going by what ive seen.
