DooM: Knee Deep in the Dead vs Halo: The Flood a.k.a VG cover art comparisons O.o

Hmmm...am I the only one that sees some...similarity?

The Flood wasn’t nearly as good as First-Strike or The Fall of Reach. Doom the book also really sucked...

I like the DooM books. The story had lots of depth as it went to the other books. Even if the story was horribly warped. Oh well. They changed it better than the DOOM movie.

Then you don’t look hard enough. I see the same picture. The Halo one just has MC instead of Flynn and Flood instead of demons. They’re both shooting. They are on an elevated...thing surrounded. A flood is going for mc’s leg; a demon going for Flynn’s leg, ect ect.

No only the Doom guy is elevated, not MC, they are surrounded, but flood and demons have nothing in common.

They point in different directions, have different looking guns, MC’s other hand looks like he is about to grab hid gun and reload, while the doom guy looks like he is enjoying it.

And MC’s cover does not have a fellow marine in the background, halo is behind him.

So actually there is very little similarities if you think about it.

You have to be blind not to see the similarities. It’s nothing to take seriously either.

Actually, there are many similarites. You are just such a halo fanboy that you ignore the similarites and look for differences. Of course there’s gonna be differences. It’s not a carbon-copy. But if you have a brain, it’s not hard to realise that the cover of HALO: The Flood was heavily based off the cover of The Ultimate DOOM and DOOM: Knee Deep in the Dead.

ummmm they are not even using the same type of guns........MC isn’t on elevated ground......there is no second marine.....the demon spawn thingys don’t look like flood.... the only simliar thing is that they are both surrounded...
