exactly. to make something like this work, you have to take some risks. you can’t just have a few games that use it, and let the people decide if they want to support these small titles or the big ones. you have to make it so everything is new, making it a standard for the system. until sony dedicates a system to eyetoy, it will never work.

how the fuck is eye toy gimicky? its been out and was a success, like one of u said 1/10 ps3 owners will have an eye toy 2, thats becuase the other nine dont want to be playing those motion sensing games, wii is forcing the player to play nothing but vertually mini games which are fun at first but quickly die out, you can get games like wii sports using the buzz remote, the ps3 isnt dedicated to eye toy becuase it had such a wide lybrary of games it would destroy 90% of the games they have, theres singstar as another feature, theres buzz, theres eye toy, theres guitar hero, they dont just take one of those like buzz and make it really big cus the playstation lybrary is too wide!
