lol, you kids have fun playing your generic FPS that is designed for kids.
Metroid Prime destroys it in every way. Visuals are much better, sound is much better, gameplay in Prime destroys halo’s repetitive kiddy gunplay and metroid prime lasts longer too. Metroid Prime isn’t for kids. Halo is.
So you pre-puberty teens trying to look cool by playing Halo, you phail. Those who really are “matture”, buy Metroid Prime. Halo is a digusting flop who is only worshipped by Halo nerds because it is the only game they have ever played, and Metroid Prime is too hard for their kiddy brains.

Really? Metroid Prime is for a younger audience, smartass. It’s for teens, suitable for ages 13 and older. Halo on the other hand, is rated M for mature, suitable for ages 17 and older. Metroid is more for kids.

There is not a Metroid game that looks better than Halo 2. Metroid Prime 1 and 2 were made on the Gamecube. Halo 2 is on Xbox. As obvious as it is, Halo 2 has more graphics and much better visuals than any Metroid game. Halo 3 will utterly destroy Metroid Prime 3 in graphics and visuals. There’s no doubt about it.

Hmm...Gamecube supports only Pro Logic II, while Xbox and Xbox 360 support Dolby Digital Surround. Digital Surround is better than Pro Logic II. Wii will also support Pro Logic II like the Gamecube. Halo 2 has better sound than Metroid Prime 1 & 2. Halo 3 will have much better sound than Metroid Prime 3, definitely.

so gameplay in Prime destroys halo’s repetitive kiddy gunplay
For one thing, i doubt you’ve played Halo. Gameplay is different in many people’s perspective. Some think Halo’s gameplay is better than Metroid’s and vice versa. Halo becomes repetitive if you’re bad at it and keep dying over and over. It’s challenging. Metroid is more of a 'kiddy' game than Halo.

Considering Halo is more popular for it’s Multiplayer and online play, which Metroid doesn’t have, except in Hunters which is for the DS.

Incorrect. Look above.

Funny coming from someone who spelled 'fail' wrong. People playing Halo aren’t trying to look cool, they’re trying to have a better videogame experience.

Considering Metroid is mostly targeted towards Teens ages 13 and older while Halo is mostly targeted towards mature people ages 17 and older.

Halo is a great franshise, which i’m into. i’ve played Dragonball Z Budokai 1 & 3, Final Fantasy X, Final Fantasy X-2, Kingdom Hearts, Kingdom Hearts 2, Tekken 4 & 5, Halo 2, Ninja Gaiden Black, Dead or Alive 2 3 & 4, Soul Calibur 2, and i like Halo.

I prety much agree with YUSIF2k, except for the graphics comment (which I believe to be on par with each other, niether is better than the other in that topic) and the rating. (which, in my opinion, the only real reason Metroid got a T rating instead of Halo is because of the negation of blood, Halo has quite a bit of blood in it, nevermind that the rating really has nothing to do with what age group plays it, plus that nine times out of ten it’s only really a guideline for parents, most of which don’t much care, all the same it does prove that neither game is 'kiddy' in any format)

Hahahaha
phail??? It appears as though our kiddy brains have phailed us... Uh oh, I better get with the program and buy Metroid Prime so I can be matture. What was I thinking?

Actually Halo 2 support 720p High Definition on the original Xbox I believe. Some games are formatted in High Def for the original Xbox, however, I’m not sure if it’s 720p or 720i.
Edit: Whoops I take that back. I’m looking at my Halo 2 case and it says HDTV: 480p Which is still pretty good for a last gen console in high definition.
Anyhow, the controls suck on Metroid Prime and the puzzles get a little too repetitive and tidal, especially with all the boring backtracking. Halo is just a fun game with awesome controls. The battles are evenly spaced to hit that 5 to 10 minutes of fun continuously throughout the game with the correct amount of space in between.... If that makes any sense? Basically, you’re never bored. Don’t even talk about Halo 2 as a short game. Online.... Talk about replay value
in strategy and story I would have to metroid prime, each game delivers a mystery and story that pick up as you go along, as for skill I think metroid prime there too, but in graphics halo 3 might beat metroid in that case
