The geniuses behind Star Wars Rouge Squadron are coming back to Nintendo and with a vengeance. Get prepared for an actuall good 3rd party Wii game haha as these guys are dedicated:

But one of our main focuses is the innovation around the controls. Everybody is always talking about the motion control, but I think people are overplaying that a bit. I really, really love the pointing aspect of the remote. Well Factor 5 is normally quite a good dev, although they got a lot of crap over Lair, which is probably due to it using motion sensing and all those hardcore reviewers always knock down on that.
But they are a good dev and definetly dedicated. Wonder what kind of game they’ll make.

Yea its quite the annoyance. Wii gamers continually get ripped off by 3rd parties, and then they yell at us for not buying it. I mean its hypocritical.
Hasn’t been announced, but there are many rumors surround it. Some say its going to be a new Kid Icarus game. Others say its going to be a Turrican game. Even others say a new IP or possibly Star Wars Rouge Squadron 4. But still all rumors.

I’m hooping more for the last one. I just hope hey don’t fuck up like with Lair. He’s saying prtty much everything he said about the PS3 only to the Wii.
Considering how much they pushed out of the Gamecube at its launch, I don’t doubt they’ll make a Wii game that puts Galaxy to shame, graphically. I think they just have a knack for that architecture.
I wouldn’t be surprised if they pumped out some parallax maps, hell, they were the only ones who utilized normal maps and dynamic shadows on the GCN.
But, I can’t say the game will be great. I mean, they make good games, but not necessarily great games.
