Sorry for all the topics but I want to know everything about what fallout 3 is about because I want it. It looks long and addicting so please post what your supposed to do in fallout 3.

“Vault-Tec engineers have worked around the clock on an interactive reproduction of Wasteland life for you to enjoy from the comfort of your own vault. Included is an expansive world, unique combat, shockingly realistic visuals, tons of player choice, and an incredible cast of dynamic characters. Every minute is a fight for survival against the terrors of the outside world – radiation, Super Mutants, and hostile mutated creatures. From Vault-Tec, America’s First Choice in Post Nuclear Simulation”

I am a huge fan of Oblivion but I dont know..... I guess Fallout 3 just isn’t looking all that great to me. I mean maybe it’s just when the battle isn’t in real time. I mean I do know you arent forced to use the theatrical attacking sequences but I just dont know..... I am already overwhelmed with what I have to do with Oblivion. Currently I am trying to settle down and buy a house and horse somewhere but I dont know where. I get in trouble too much and lack trasportation to travel. I guess I just couldn’t play both stories and just enjoy one, complete opposite stories but 2 similar games as far as gameplay goes. Maybe it is just because I didn’t like Bioshock that much and Fallout 3 looks a lot like Bioshock, no one can disagree with that logic. I have my hopes high for Farcry 2 and I think it will be a very awesome game. And on top of it all have you guys seen the map editor? OMG!

Well most people describe it as Oblivion with guns...
people who’ve never seen it, people who’ve never played it, people who have no idea except for what they think.. Anyone who’s written about it, after hands on testing, says it is not Oblivion with guns
actually I just searched and 1 reviewer for Sweden PC Gamer said it’s “Just Oblivion with Guns” and hundreds of people who have made comments on official reviews {think MvC commenters with no clue} have said that.
But just watch the vids, search out as many as you can find. If Oblivion was That slick we’d all still be playing it
My bad I stuffed up the whole bold crap...oh well...fallout 3 looks badass but I wont be getting it straight away...ill have LBP and Far Cry 2 to keep me occupied for at least a couple of weeks.

I won’t be getting it until atleast January, when I can afford my new system.
Every time Bethesda releases a Game, I get a system that surpasses the recommended requirements.
First with Morrowind, then Oblivion and now Fallout lol
I think its really bad...good/great games are boring me atm, I just cant seem to get my head around them mainly from the lack of time but the longer I stay away from a game the less I like it...except classic games like Final Fantasy and such.

Which is good, because that leaves you headway to get other hardware-intensive games. Well, if you want to get them, that is.
I’ve wanted to play the originals so much that I never really paid attention to Fallout 3. I really hope the previews aren’t optimistic and that this game really isn’t Oblivion with guns or I won’t want to play it for very long. Of what little I’ve seen and heard about, though, I’m quite interested, but not optimistic. When it comes to games, I never am anymore unless I have some blind assurance to a game’s greatness (a.k.a., Zelda, Mario, or Starcraft, to name three).
