There were good games on it. But they were split too far apart.

Also, worst by Nintendo? Play the Virtua Boy and say that.

Really, the gamecube games relied WAY to heavily on 1st party. Most of the games that got hi reviews were by nintendo

It wasn’t the most popular console, but to me as well as many other fans it was one of the best.

What? You say that it was the worst of the last gen, which is your opinion. Cid, as well as others, hold it to be one of the best consoles ever.

This topic was made for the people who did enjoy it, and liked it a lot. If you didn’t like it, oh well, but don’t ignore that some people hold it as one of the best, and they have every right to, whether or not you disagree.

What I’m trying to say is this, to me the Gamecube was one of the best, I liked it more then the Xbox and I like it more then the 360 and PS3 right now. To me, only two consoles beat it, the Wii and the PS2, it’s not because I think that the 'Cube itself is good, it’s because I think that Nintendo makes some of the best games. I bought Super Smash Brothers Melee back in 2002, but I still play it regularly to this day. I can only say that about 1 other game, Final Fantasy VII, which I manage to play and beat at least twice a year for the last 5 years.

lol, I think so.

The GC had some of the best games out there but with future wii titles still supporting the classic controller and the GC controller still having further use it won’t go down for a while. A few years from now when Nintendo makes its next system it will most likey have a new standard controller that supports all its past console games.

Alas, Nintendo is putting the console out of it’s misery. Memory cards, controllers, and games will soon also stopped being manufactured. It’s going the way of the Original Xbox.
