Yeah I have only played the game once when a friend brought it over, I started a data on my profile since my younger brother got the game but he does not come back until friday or saturday.
Anyways my favorite returning character is still Yunsung, I do not know why people complained about him being bad in SC2 but he was my best and I almost never lost with him, people said he had a terrible fighting style yet I found it good as it was a good combination of speed, range, and power. He still has the moves I remember from SC2 and he is still my best.
Xianghua is another one I have been used to and she has not changed much, I am average with her but she still has a fighting style I like.
Kilik is also still s good as ever, he is my second best and still remains easy to use.
Out of the new characters Hilde is my favorite out of them, she has a nice combination of strong close combat with the short sword and weak long range combat with her spear. I like her dual weilding fighting style, it is different than cervantes who just used 2 swords.
In fact, I would say that Mitsurugi is balanced enough that he doesn’t have any weaknesses to certain character, nor advantages against any. He’s easily as good as you can play him.

you know, I would say out of all the characters to master, Raphael has the most potential. He has those damn parrys and dodges that can make him untouchable if played properly. I like him a lot, but timing is a hard thing to master.

Every time I play, I have to get on Training Mode so I can relearn his moves. XD
