I beg to differ, I think that quite a few characters could go against Auron, Cloud is a literal Super Human, enhanced with Jenova Cells, He’s so strong that in the movie he cut straight through a Motorcycle, there ain’t no way that his sword is sharp enough to do that with little effort, he is inhumanly fast, able to deflect bullets with his sword, and incrediably strong, in FF7 his bustersword weighed more than 500 pounds and he was able to lift it with no problems.

Cid Highwind (my favorite character) may not be a super human, but he does have an airship that can unleashe a barrage if Missiles onto an enemy, as well as having dynamite to throw around.

Vincent Valentine is the definition of a super human, he was one of the most promising recruits of the turks in his 'younger' years, he is an excellent marksman, he is agile enough to run down wires all while dodging bullets and returning fire at the same time, after he found out that Hojo was experimenting on his 'lover' he was shot and presumably killed, Hojo injected various monster’s DNA into him, when he awoke he realized that he had incredible powers to transform into powerfuk beasts, the first was Gallian Beast, a strong Monster that could spit up fire, resembled some sort of Godzilla like creture with horns. The secnond was Death Gigas, a frakenstein like monster with the power of electricity, also had monsterous strength. The third was Hellmasker, think Jason Vorhees gone mad, he could attack you with his chainsaw and deal massive damage while inflicting several status effects. The last was Chaos, a devil like creature that had the power to take a life instantly with the Satan Slam attack, also used an attack called Chaos Sabre which dealt massive non-elemental damage.

I think the FF7 cast could take the FF10 Cast... also note that the FF7 cast has acsess to their materia.

Nobody can defeat Cid, he just rocks lol

Good but you forget about a couple of aeons that yuna could call up to help destroy the air ship so how bout, o I forget who..... Bahamut.

Yuna could also have her cousin Rikku to get her dad Cid to fly his air ship to take down ,well..,the other Cid’s ship which also fires missiles at the enemy.

Okay, fair, but you forget that in Final Fantasy VII there are three different Bahumuts who could protect Highwind’s Ship and take down the other Ship along with Bahumut.

If you remember about the aeons Valefor, The Magus Sisters, Yojimbo (my favorate), Anima, Shiva and Ixion could all battle the three aeons with in short time.

Or with the their ultimate weapons and overdrives the battle could be won with in three turns.

Each of the FF7 characters can be equpited with these two materia combos.

Final Attack/Phoenix (allows them to be brought back to life five times while dealing fire damage)

Knights of the Round/MP Absorb, Master Summon/HP Absorb, W-Summon/mime (every time Knights of the Round is cast it restores the summoner’s Hp and Mp completly, attacks with KOTR twice in one turn, mime allows for casting without using MP up)

After One KOTR the other characters would be defeated.

confirmed? The closest thing to FF7 being confirmed was in the Loose Talk section of Game Informer’s May issue where they stated that rumors have been flying around about it using the FF XII battle system, I haven’t heard anything else, but if you got the article post it, I’d really like to see a remake for the PS3, the Tech Demo shown at E3 last year was too awesome.

FF7 for the ps3 hasn’t been confirmed, I just checked on google and I can’t find anything, the only thing that I’ve seen is the tech Demo shown in 2005.

by the way, gamerankings.com has Final Fantasy VII as the number 9 most popular game ever, also interestingly enough you’ll also notice that this list has five Playstation games on it, 4 Nintendo games, and only one x-box game, you just screwed yourself over dude.

ff7 is so big even i havnt been able to finish it. ff10 is the only game of the series ive been able to beat cus they are so dam big! and awsome!
mainly i jst get stuck on them and dont no where the heck to go. thats why i jst cant wait for ff7 on ps3 which will be using the ff12 batle system. can someone plz tell me what the batle system is

I don’t know what the XII battle system is, I don’t live in Japan so I can’t play it yet.

Also, I am the Master of all things Final Fantasy VII, if you think you know anybody who knows a lot about that game... well I probably know more, in ten years I’ve beaten the game from begining to end over 50 times, I have put literatly thousands of hours of my life into that game, I have done everything you can possibly do, if you need any help at all with FF7 just ask me, I guarrentee that I can help you, and if I can’t I wull commit sepeku.

Yah but think about how Tidus (main character) is a dream of the faith. And the fight would be mainly against Cloud and Tidus. Cloud lifting a 500 puond sword is great and all but he lacks the speed. Tidus is Quick, and agile with his Sword play attacks.

ive goten stuck on the part where they move the big misile to the really ruined city. forgot wat its called i think it starts with b or something. also there was a big monster crossing the sea heading for the city. except i have it on pc and i unistalled it getting rid of a virus and i need to start all ova gain
graphics kinda put me off but if its out on ps3 then u will see something mising on the shelve very fast.
ff7 owns all!
