One of the under radar titles but is a Wii exclusive published by Nintendo developed by Akira. Here’s some first screens and details:

- To be released August 21st

- Explore underwater at your own pace

- Explore with a friend via wifi

- Treasure-hunting mode

- Play with and study sea creatures

- Take pictures for a magazine

- Be a tour guide

- Explore ocean and find underwater sea ruins

UPDATE Whoever thought we’d get an update for this in the same day but it seems that music is going to play a big deal in the Forever Blue game. How big you say? Depends on how much you like your own music. Yes this game allows for you to put MP3’s on your SD card to stream into the game while you play just as Excite Truck did. It’s done on the 360 and now seeming to get a little more attention for the Wii. This definetly makes me want it just tha tmuch more. Now I need to buy an SD card.

I really don’t know what to think of it. Metroid Prime 3 fans aren’t going to like it thought cause this is the game that had MP3 pushed back a week.

But I guess it could be cool just have to hear more about it. I’m intrigued though to see what they’ll do with the online. This sounds like a good game to introduce a headset for online play. I mean swimming around with a friend exploring is fun but it would be more fun if it turned it into a chat room as well.

this is a very innovative approach to gaming, and if its online and if its a huge success than more game companies will probably to the same. I like innovation, so I cant wait to see how it turns out.

Well I’m still skeptical about this game but it’s an interesting idea and I want to see where NIntendo and Akira go with it.

The game looks stupid. Watch, it’s gonna be a flop.

No no Nintendo games flop haha. Doesn’t matter if it’s good or not. If Nintendo’s is involved it sales. I mean look at Mario Party 8 haha.

I doubt Nintendo’s name can save this game. Nintendo is too good for this kind of crap.

Well they aren’t making the game just publishing it. Meaning this crap isn’t there’s. But this crap is probably going to sale haha. I might get the game. Not at full price but when it drops.

I highly doubt it. Not many people actually want to play a diving simulation.

Hey we don’t know that. Could be a huge cult of diver gamers just waiting for this game hahahahhahahahaha.

I’ll have to see more at E3 though to make a final decision on this game.

Maybe but I don’t see what is so great about discovering some whale or underwater ruin in a video game simulation.

Who knows. I’ll judge when I know fully about the game. After E3 basically I’ll tell ya.

But Prime 3 fans can’t be happy cause this game pushed MP3 back a week haha.

I’m not happy about that either. Pushing back Metroid for this game...

Hhaa it was for the best for MP3. Get it as far back as possible from the Madden 08 release. August is Madden’s month. Put MP3 a couple of weeks back so that you can have a big opener yourself. Also it’s good for EA’s Madden on the Wii so MP3 doesnt' affect sales.

Yep. But maybe some people will find this intriguing and want to play it.
