That’s what Live and PSN need. You should be able to pay a few dollars and download the game for a few weeks or a month. Maybe the games can be streamed while downloading so you can play and don’t have to wait. The games can be timed so that after the weeks or period of time it was rented for is up it can’t be played anymore but all saved games, etc can still be accessed if you want to buy it or rent it for a few more weeks.
