Man. I’ve lost my drive for gaming.
I want to play a good RPG. I have games on wait that I’m dying to play. But I can’t get myself to play anything.
I can say it’s probably a result of college absorbing my time and lack of comfortable funds, but still...
I have games I haven’t finished. I only play CoD2 or Nexuiz(look it up) anymore. I need an RPG, and I have some, but I just won’t sit down and do it.
Big question, how strong is your drive? Has it changed radically as you’ve aged?

It’s one of the few games I played, and once I got through Painkiller, I’m pretty much burnt out.

Tried it. My distaste for Oblivion moved its way there. Pity, since I was actually optimistic about the game. Unless you mean the old ones, which I don’t feel like searching for.
I have been playing significant Starcraft, and the RE5 demo has sparked some in me.
Really, I’m waiting for Killzone 2 and Final Fantasy XIII. In the meantime, I’m going to try to bring myself to play Lost Odyssey and finish Mass Effect.
But, I’m asking you guys here too.

I play Guitar Hero or Rock Band occasionally. That’s about it nowadays.

Same here. Maybe some Gears 2 if friends are online.

Eh. I’ve went online with LBP and Burnout Paradise occasionally. But I don’t find gaming as attractive as it used to be. I’d rather be working.

I find Oblivion to be very redundant and dull. I can understand people’s love of the game, but I don’t like it. I found the interaction to be lame and the overall game clunky and full of uninspired everything, from the storytelling to the environments. It doesn’t help I don’t like Western fantasy RPG’s much in the first place, especially when a tiny fairy isn’t popping up and giving me quests, or a cursed dragon of black fire that rains meteors from the sky isn’t flying overhead.
And many of the elements I disliked in Oblivion followed me to Fallout 3. While I liked it more, it just wasn’t there for me.
Mass Effect, however, is the shit.

You most likely have already done so but if you like Mass Effect you should give the two KOTOR’s a try.

I plan to.
First, Lost Odyssey. I figure a return to my RPG origins is in place.

Till the End of Time or the new one on 360?
I beat TTEOT back in the day. Put a hardcore 120+ hours into that to get through the huge tower. Had the best weapons, beat most of the secret bosses. I was unstoppable.
Loaned it to a friend, it was then ruined by him.
I should actually beat Diablo 2. Never made it through Baal before, and Diablo 3 is on the way. Plenty of time 2 years is.
