Gears of war, possibly the new halo killer.
If you haven’t heard of Gears of war its a 360 game using full advantage of the unreal engine. The graphics on it are unbeliviable if you haven’t seen this game yet i suggest you download the trailers and watch them all.
This game has everything
From chainsaws to disemberment (shooting off limbs) to curbstomping (stomping on enemys heads when there down).

Thsi game uses all three of the 360’s cores an you can tell by its beatiful graphics. This game is being made by Epic, the people that made the unreal games, so they know what there doing. They are holding no stops in thsi game trying to make it as perfect as possible with lots of detail including real time lip synching for multiplayer games (you’ll see your mouth move to what you say in the game).

The game is an over the shoulder view game, it is kind of like fps but not excatly, unlike most shooters that are all gun out shooting , gears takes a more tatcica approach with hiding beiing a big feature.

Well, Lost Planet only uses 60% of the power, and it looks amazing. So I hope Gears of War isn’t using 100%... otherwise games won’t look any better. But why am I worrying? It’s been out less than a year so I know there is much more in store.

60% where did you get that?

^The Official Xbox Magazine, the latest issue with Halo 3 as the cover. On the bottom of the page where Lost Planet is on the most anticipated list, it mentions Capcom saying that only 60% is used.

Gears of war look’s like it will be an instant 360 classic but i think HALO 3 will be better

I’m just very interested in seeing how different the gameplay is between Gears of War and UT 2007.

No offense but if you know anything about GOW and UT then you’d know that they be be heaps different in gameplay.

Yes, but never-the-less, they are both FPS, and they are both made by Epic Games, so there could well be many similarities in gameplay.

Gears of war is over the shoulder, which is more third person then first person.

I know cliffy b pretty well, (the producer of the game) and I think he is gonna do a great job on this game

Oh ok, well I haven’t done a lot of research on Gears of War, other than just checking out their videos and images, so I just assumed that it would be a FPS... but I’ll take your word for it.

But, I still think there will be similarities in the gameplay of Gears of War and UT 2007. (Remember, that’s just my opinion)

GOW is not in first person wtf
