If the Prince could not rewind time, Kratos would smash him like fly. And even still, the prince has limited time rewinds (I think? It’s been a couple years since I played it) so I’m going with Kratos on this one.
Kratos wins.Kratos has the Armor of Ares that lets him take all kinds of attacks without hardly feeling a thing.Prince doesn’t have armor at all and can die from one sword swipe from the giant.Kratos can fall many feat and live the Prince I played as died when he fell like 10 feat.Anyway just because he has time altering powers doesn’t mean he can beat him.He can barely beat a giant.

using his time powers he can analize his moves though, and know what Kratos is gonna do before he does
Aren’t his time powers limited? Kratos can take massive damage and I don’t think the Prince has the power to inflict any serious wounds on Kratos before his ability to rewind time run out.
I’d also like to add Zeus Fury and Rage of the Gods. Also in GOW2 he will have the following powers:
Weapons
Blades of Athena: Given to Kratos by the goddess Athena. Much of the combo moves from the original have carried over. The Cyclone of Chaos maneuver is still the same (as seen in the video “Stabby” on IGN as the first move that Kratos makes), while a similar move displays Kratos spinning both blades on the same side, instead of one on each side. Much more new moves. At the beggining they have all of the moves but after you are killed and play in Hades, they are back to Lv.1.
The Hammer of Souls: This hammer comes from the Barbarian King and can summon the dead souls of Hades; this weapon is actually the returning spell “Army of Hades," but incorporated into a weapon.
Spear of Destiny: Giant purple spear seen in the IGN video review. Seems to be able to change length.
Blade of Olympus: Giant sword that glows blue, Kratos will have to sacrifice godly power, red orbs and execute Poseidon’s Rage to power it up. The sword absorbs enemies power when you kill them with it.
Magic
Poseidon’s Rage: Kratos starts out with this magic, and the level one spell appears to be more powerful than the starting spell in the first game. The Wrath of Poseidon, the attack where Kratos spins around, returns at level two. Earned in the first game from Poseidon. It is only available during the first level, when Kratos finds himself in the underworld, he no longer has any magic.
The Typhon Bane: Level one shoots out supernatural wind arrows; level two shoots out a charged shot in the form of a whirlwind which will send multiple enemies skywards; level three will shoot out a massive tornado. This tornado is not an arrow-shot but an actual tornado which rips and tears enemies to pieces.
Kronos' Fury: A new thunder magic from Kronos which lets Kratos place thunderbolts that will essentially tie-down enemies and shock them.
Euryale’s Head: The new 'Medusa’s Gaze', it transforms enemies into stone as in the original but it weilds new attacks and features. Earned by defeating Euryale.
Apocalypse of Atlas: The last magic has been confirmed to be an earth spell which will shoot boulders at enemies at level one. Level two creates earthquakes and, at level three, fissures that enemies fall into.
Rage of the Titans: Similar to the “Rage of the Gods” attack in the original God of War, Kratos is covered in flames and inflicts massive damage toward enemies. Unlike the Rage of the Gods power in the first game, Kratos is able to use it without having to get the Rage of the Titans meter filled.
Relics
Amulet of the Fates: Slows down time for a certain amount of time when in range of a fate statue.
Wings of Icarus: Allows Kratos to hover for 3 seconds
Golden Fleece: Allows the reflection of projectiles and reduction of some % of melee attacks
