Sounds like a reasonable response from Nintendo. Wouldn’t be surprised if that’s true. But the reason behind that stated reason is Nintendo doesn’t want MS making profits off something that Nintendo could make more off of it was exclusive, whether multiplatform or not. All a competition haha. It’s really surprising that it might have been going to the VC as well. But the way its looking, looks like old school Rare games are going to be on the backburner until the legal issues are settled. But I don’t think that Nintendo would ever allow it to come on any other console, meaning would have to be VC exclusive. But hey Nintendo has changed a lot of policies with the Wii and DS, maybe they’ll change this one as well. Cause either its VC gets it only or no one gets it.

Well MS isn’t going to allow only Nintendo to get it, and Nintendo not exclusive on XBLA or on both. Pretty much unless some huge monetary thing is worked out were screwed.

I don’t own Goldeneye 007 anymore. I lost it a few years ago.

Don’t see what the deal is, Nintendo is on the right. As in, they are right. It was their game, RARE was not in MS’s hands when Goldeneye was made nor did it come to an MS console. VC is for games that were on the Nintendo 64 and thats what Goldeneye was, a game on the Nintedo 64.

The again, its both their fault. We want the game on VC AND XBLA and we don’t care who makes the profit lol.
