Halo 3 likely to replace Ocarina of time in gamerankings list? (#1)

I have heard rumors that halo 3 will replace OOT in gamerankings and knock it down to #2. Who here agrees/disagrees?

Not a chance really. Think of what your saying. halo 3 would have to have 97.7% average or better to beat it out. That means not one bad review can happen. LoZ: OoT has been an untouchable entity up on that list. The closest anything recently has come in Metroid Prime with 96.3%.

But LoZ: OoT had 56% of it’s reviews at 100%. That’s a hell of a lot. Not only that but the other 44% was in the 90%. None below that. Only 4 of those were below 95%.

It’s almost an impossible feat but seriously think of what your comparing it too. I mean if it happens I mean congrats to Halo 3 but I’ll disagree it down to the every last little spec cause it doesn’t deserve it. I mean I didn’t even want LoZ: TP really to do it although it had the best chance probably this generation.

I don’t see this happening. LoZ: OoT was perfection in gaming.

Though if it does happen be a terrible day and gaming to see “that” take down what is LoZ: OoT. Would be a sad day for gamers and reviewers everywhere.

I mean think how good Halo 1 was. Better than Halo 2. Yet it is still 2% points behind OoT. Same with RE4 and that game was incredible. And same wiht Super Mario 64 and Goldeneye 007. All these great games aren’t even close. There’s not evne one game within 1% point from it. It’s in a class of it’s own.

And as I said if it’s surpassed by H3 then it’s a definite sad day in gaming that something like this has come.

I understand this but this isn’t technically a rumor but more simply speculation. Rumors are something that have some kinda background whether true or false. This is more just Halo guys dreaming haha.

I do agree though that if H3 has the storyline it will be a kickass game.

yeah it will, but in my opinion, now understand I am a halo fan, I dont think the story will be good, considering bungie worked on the multiplayer most of the time (Fact).

But then again i could be wrong. Everyone has there mistakes. but i agree, LoZ: OOT is the king of games. I bet even link laughes at other games failures, lol.

I think this topic should be more trying to predict what rating Halo 3 will get. I’m thinking 94% range.

Halo 3 would have to be truly amazing to beat OoT. It would have to come close to perfect. One bad review and it’s out.
