Hows the online play?
whats the life bar like?
there is no online, besides inviting friends to play co op and firefight, firefight is fun as hell lol, and the life bar is very awkward compared to what i am used too, u have to get health if u start getting hit alot, and i havnt played it enough to compare it to h3
It is a very nice game, the free roaming part is nice, you can spot some serach parties of brutes and company far away and either fight or avoid them. You can find lost weapons around the city and use them to stay alive. The free roaming gives you choice to which way and where you can go, plus many missions like the first one you do with Buck will let you have many routes to attack from, you could go directly or around through a building and take out the covenent from there.
Also bungie lied, there are elites, you just see their dead bodies lying around some parts just because they were betrayed by the brutes early on here.
Also there are some new enemies:
Gold Hunter- works like the classic hunter from Halo 1
Red Drone- Drone swarm leader, has medium shields light armor.
Red armored jump pack brutes.
Some drones will try to slide under you can get a shot at you from behind. Jackals can now use needlers.
I have played campaign on heroic so far and well, everything has been the same expect for jumping and running speed. I could take a shot or 2 from a brute shot and hide before my life could suffer, you basiclly play as a mark 5 spartan as I said a while back.
The Pistol is a nice welcome, it works as long as you do not get trigger happy and suffer from its recoil. The silenced SMG works nicely, good to scope grunts, jackals, and drones with. Works limitedly well against brutes. The AR still has more range, accuracy, and power and a larger reserve pool of 352 rounds, so I would still use this, the SMG only gets 192 for some odd reason.
Like the M6G from Halo 3 it has moderate power vs brutes, against brute minors (open helmets no shoulder armor) it works well enough. Majors/ultras (open helmet, shoudler plating) it will take a little more, 5-9 rounds depending on difficulty. Forget it on Captains and higher, they are too strong and you use to much ammo. The BR would rip through many of these because it took out shields faster with more ammo. The AR is still a better bet to rip off the shields and then headshot or beat them down.

like plasma said, the free roam is awesome, it is a lot more challenging than other halo games, especially on legendary, me and a friend had to double flank to get anywhere. unlike the other halos where the MC runs in like a BA and can take hits like a beast, if u do that in this game, u will get woned fast. The idea of free roam is awesome so u dont ever have to always face enemies head on, but instead u can go through buildings and flank them from the back and get more tactical. I do really enjoy this game
Hahaha IGN AU funny comment though true charging full price for a 5 hour game is horrible, even if its multiplayer is good still should be cheaper and longer.
