Ok, i really don’t get it, how is it overrated?

Halo 2 was everything Bungie promised.

So why do people think it’s overrated?

Halo 2 was one of the most dissapointing games ever. Only really new thing was dual weilding and some new weapons. Not to mention it was very short. Even so, it doesn’t mater, if I promised a game that was made entirely out of the colors red, green, and yellow, and I keep that promise, and let’s just say that game gets popular, is it now not-overrated?

Halo is a good game, I’ll give it that. However I don’t see anything about it that should set it aside from the countless other games just like it.

It actually impressed me, i thought it would be like Halo, in stead it was fast paced and the story was great.

And like i said it’s not like Bungie said you can do this and that but when the game comes out you can’t.

Halo actually had more in it then what it was promised for.

If you thought it would have a bunch of stuff and were dissapointed when it came out, the it’s your fault.

If you disagree with that then it was not overrated.

See what i mean, the sony fanboys made up this crap of it being overrated and they spread lies of what would be in Halo 2 before it came out.

Like i said, Halo 2 is in no way overrated, just look at the facts, if i must dare say.... in some ways it was... underrated.

You don’t understand. Yes it’s a good game. I’ll even give it very good game. But the thing is it brought nothing exceptionally new to the table. It seems that games that really do revolutionize how games are played are the real underrated game (Mario, Crash, Zelda). I would rather play Metroid Prime, Timesplitters, or one of the countless war games out there, and get what I am expecting, rather than get a game that is recieving so much hype and be pretty dissapointed.

Halo did bring something new to video games, you must admit that, Halo 2 brought a few good new things to games.

Bungie got several ten thousand E-mails saying they wanted NOTHING in Halo 2 changed because they liked Halo so much.

Bungie learned from their mistake, they will do differently with Halo 3.

But a game doesn’t get in the top 20 best games of all time for no reason.

Mind telling me what exactly Halo 2 brought to the table?

We’ll think about it.

1.Very good graphics

2.Discriptive story, but not boring

3.Co-op

4.Duel weapon, but limits you so you can’t win easily

5.Good a.i.

6.Has a background story for the enemy as well

7.Multiplayer

8.Online capibilities

9.Stealth, run and gun, and tactical moments all combines in this game

10.it’s just a good game, the ratings and the fact that more then half a billion games have been played on live alone are proof enough show it’s good

Few games have all or even half these elements all together.
