Has GTA IV lost its touch?

I’ve been playing this game for a month now and all of sudden it seems i am not enjoying it anymore like I used to.

And I recently saw that people are quiting the multiplayer slowly and going back to CoD4 and Halo 3.

Has GTA IV lost its once awesome touch?

I dunno. I haven’t played it yet. From what my cousin tells me, he hasn’t stopped playing it. He loves it. Some video games though do get old after playing them so much.

I like it, especially MP. But only if there are car chases and stuff.

Halo 3 and COD4 get a good few hours every so often still.

Battlefield will own any MP. IMO.

it’s lost it’s touch. eventually people just want more. it’s escalation. we got all kinds of shit out of the first 3, but now we just need more.

I still play it with friends.

And Zeta even a perfect game can lose it’s touch and get boring.

Heh only good multiplayer I saw in GTA4 was Free Roam and bomb da base, downside is that for a fun mode there was only 1 stage. After seeing this news on G4, I see that it is pretty funny because so many people claimed the multiplayer to be like a god? I would rather go into quick matches rather then just roam around a whole city for hours on end just to look for 1 person to kill.

Don’t be silly, Inferno. You’re purposely trying to make the game look bad. There are plenty of fun moments. Get together with some friends and fight off the cops and NOOSE. It’s fun as hell.

exactly, i dont think GTA IV deserved all of those 10’s.

maybe an 8.75? or a 9? but its not a 10.

well, all my console games bore me a bit now. Ever since I got my new computer. >_>

But after playing too much on the PC, I’ll get bore,d then head back to my 360 and Ps3. And it will suddenly be fun.

I’ve tried it out, and it was fun, but not the online so i can’t judge that. GTA’s are known to be real fun in smaller doses, not quite a game you can play for months straight, more like 2 weeks here, 2 weeks there until you crave it again.

I dunno, it looks fun. For a while...

Some people just don’t understand the Golden Rule.

I still love it. I just think most gamers now adays are really sticking to FPSs. I think eventually FPSs are just going to dominate online play. I choose to play Halo 3 online over anything but I still love all of my other online games. GTA IV is still amazing to me and the online is awesome. Oblivion is my favorite 360 game so ya see there will always be a spark in games for me..... One game wont totally los’s spark in my eyes.....

Well I am dam bored because my wii is still out for a repair and Halo can only interest me so long. Glad advance wars is a nice long game.
