Because Guild Wars is not a real MMO.
What do you mean by that? It’s massively multiplayer, online, and a role-playing game.
I mean you aren’t playing with thousands of other players. Guild Wars has a hub, but when you get to the real questing and stuff the number of players is fairly limited.

How fair would it be to take a city full of players into a mission with you?

They don’t compare... WoW is an MMO. Guild Wars is a action rpg. Playing with a guild of like 30 at the same time on a raid is much different than playing with 8 people...

I find it harder to communicate with 30 people at once...
I also need someone to do the Fissure of Woe with me.

I couldn’t play Guild Wars for more then an hour. WoW, I can play all day. It’s just better.
You have to get into it.
It doesn’t steal your soul like WoW does.
